Hi! I’m Melissa — the maker, designer, and creative heart behind NuxieMade. What started years ago as a hobby while crafting for my own children has grown into a small handmade brand filled with color, texture, and joy.

Each piece in this shop is created by hand in my Portland, Oregon studio. I work with soft yarns, natural fibers, cozy fabrics, and a whole lot of love to bring you crochet hats for all ages, punch-needle home décor, whimsical dolls, and unique handmade accessories. Every stitch is intentional. Every design is crafted to feel special.

NuxieMade is all about slow-made pieces that spark happiness — whether it’s a tiny newborn hat, a vibrant mug rug, a soft fabric doll, or a cozy beanie for grown-ups. I truly believe handmade items carry a warmth that mass-produced pieces can’t replicate, and my goal is to send that feeling home to you.
